If you look for the best way to learn English you have now a new door in front of you. I believe the best way to learn English is to teach English. Now if you are already an English teacher you can be after this door giving a help hand to learners.Now I discovered that to teach is not only a way to live. It is same time a commitment.

How about teaching and have a commitment for free? Why we need to have this? Yesterday I found one good answer for that. You can change lives like an English teacher. I believe it is a big commitment and same time is the best result which a teacher can receive.Your life is first life which will be changed like an English teacher.

Are you ready to knock knock at this door ? From which part ? Like a teacher or like a student ? To be honest for myself is great now because it is an open door. Now I can be a teacher and a student too. You too can do both even you are an intermediate English student. Everyone can learn or teach for free on this great virtual place: Cypris Chat.

What is Cypris Chat? First I thought it is like any place in Second Life. In time I discovered there a team, a family who works hard to have that commitment: to teach English, to offer a free opportunity to practice like a teacher or to learn like a student.

Now from yesterday I am host there. The door is open now for me from both directions. I can be a teacher there and I can be a student too. Now I have a very good feeling and I want to thank to them for that. Something in a good way changed on my path like an English teacher. If you want to feel that I believe you must spent few months teaching English there. That mean you can teach English for one hour by week like a commitment. You can go there to have your own English class and try your own way to teach. Be sure that anytime there you can find students and make them friends.

For example I love to read with voice online. I have a Reading Practice class like an intermediate English student. I made it to offer someone the opportunity to read with voice in group, to listen to others, to improve pronunciation, listening, reading skills. Between readings we can talk about anything. That build friendships in time. In time you can became a member of Cypris Chat family and you’ll have very good feelings. I believe that is important for our lives. We can change something over the world in good ways.

If you think that I am right you can knock knock to this door to see what happen there, to talk with people there, to spent few time there between them. Writting about that can’t be same like when you go there to talk with people. If you want to join on this family I believe the best way is to go there to talk with people. If you are just curious I believe is not enough. Will be great for you to spent few hours there on English activities with great teachers.Try to discover when will be there English activities and to be there to see what happen.

How to do that? First you need to have Second Life avatar from there: How to join on Second Life. Then try to learn a little about basic knowledge on Second Life, how to use it, read system-requirements. Then just teleport on Cypris Chat place. A few days ago I discovered this new virtual world where we can study. This world is focused for education and I believe there is a good way to spend free time on the internet.

There you can make your own account and start to use it: vAcademia.com There you can go to see recorded classes how many times do you wish.

Another plus is that there you can use very easy features, menu, so on. For teachers is very easy way to upload and dowload files to have classes there.

You can have 3D evironment and avatar. I hope do you enjoy to use it and to meet you there around. I am there same like on Second Life, Cata Charisma.

Reading Halloween Stories with Professor Merryman

Yesterday was a great English reading activity with Professor Merryman on Second Life. Was very nice for me to listen to the teacher reading live. You can see on these two pics what happened there. I believe you too can read with friends online or even yourself stories with voice. If I am free I can listen to you reading or we can read together paragraph by paragraph. I believe that using voice all the time when you read something it’s a very good way to practice spoken English. If there is a little group who can listen to you will be nice. You can change ideas, you can start a conversation and finally can be a very relaxing moments, to forget the problems during the day.

For example yesterday I was there to listen to teacher reading this story: “A beloved teacher”. You can read and listen same time from this link: “A beloved teacher”. There are more stories which you can be read online with friends.

I believe that Second Life is the best place where people can enjoy to read, to talk, to do many virtual things online. On real life same activity is harder to organize between people over the world.

Reading practice with Cata on WizIQ

Every Saturday I read with friends on WizIQ online platform. All the time I try new experiences because there come new people. Today was a great reading time. Some of my friends know already how I move the page, how I use marks, and so on. I’’ll try to be there on every weekend to read.

First, when I started I thought is ok just to read. Now I changed a little and I try to answer to the questions. I saw that could be very useful for all of us to explain something. If you know about the question you can give us a hand of help or even you can listen my answers. I really like to be corrected from you, all.

Now at the final of each reading time I keep the last 10 minutes, more or less, to talk about session. There you can give me ideas, can ask me some questions and we can improve our reading practice.

I love to listen there more accents. For example today I listen to you, my friends, more accents: indians, chinese, russian, accents. I really think that we all need to keep our native accent. If there is a clear English and we can understand each other will be great to keep our native accents. The world will be more colored and beautiful. Like in the nature where are many kinds of flowers. I don’t believe that in the nature will be only red flowers will be great.

If you have some questions or ideas how to improve our reading practice on Saturdays will be great to receive it from you there, on WizIq or there on my blog.

On this morning I woke up and I saw one of my old friends who practiced a little English with me on my first days of English .

Now I am really happy to see this very nice example how to practice English. Never real contact can be replaced by internet or technology. I am sure if we, all will be able to be in some groups like this one will be much better for all of us to learn how to communicate.

I want to see a world without technology, internet, mobile phones and so on for a few days. I want to see how the people can communicate without radio, phones, TV, internet and so on. We all need to back to the our natural stile to communicate.

I think we must to do that. To discover again ourselves in very natural ways.

Thank you Dennis for this very nice example. Hope people over the world can enjoy on this kind of practice. I really like it.

I was there with some of my very good friends. We’ve read, watch and listen some youtube video about Van Gogh and finally we’ve tried to play a very nice song about him. Now you can try to practice English learning to play this song.

Why should we read together

For you sound like I would like everyone to listen to me reading?

I started to learn English by listening to others. I think that if you can listen to others you too can improve your English. Same time I want to listen to you, talking, speaking or reading something, using voice. If there are just you reading on your own in short time can be boring, without social feelings. At first I started to read alone with voice. It looks like a strange thing to do. When there is somebody listening to you reading with voice it’s very different in a good way.

If there is a very good English text or story why we need more discussion and correction? I agree with discussion or correction if there is my text, if I have composed the text, but if there is original English text why I need to correct it? I just learn from it.

About discussion. I agree with discussion about the text but there is another kind of activity, it is not reading activity. And to discuss a text I think we need to know very well English grammar, meaning …I am not a teacher yet. I just try to help with my level of English, to practice together with others, to improve our English. I wish to be an English teacher in the future. We can note new words or expressions and try to discuss in another time than reading time, to make an activity for that. Again, I try to explain that this is another kind of activity, to understand English.

The benefit of meeting together and read, in my opinion, is that we can feel each other, we can understand between words more things by voice, by intonations, by stress on words or emotions. We need to make words to be alive somehow, by voice, like in a theatre play.

I agree, if you are a teacher or native English speaker you can help more and explain better about English. I try to help somehow without this knowledge. You know very well the sound of English, the music of this language and you can feel mistakes and certainly is a better way to teach English. Without these, we, like foreigners, how can we improve a language?

I try to do something for free. Like all free goods these things are not complete. We need to have English teachers to explain more about English or native English speakers to explain. Again, without them, how can I improve my English, for free? So, if you have a chance to have an native English speaker like a teacher you can choose a better way to study. I have not yet. So I try to be my best with my own resources and online free resources which are a lots, fortunately.

Finally you have right. I am just a learner, a beginner yet. I can’t talk against you. You are a teacher and native English speaker too. You know the best way to teach because you saw already results with students, or with friends. I am alone in this project, to learn and to teach English. It is about my own efforts to practice English without any English speaker around me, only online.

I want to thank to all people who have practiced with me and I hope that my efforts will help others too.

I wait more questions. I will try to think, to learn to find better ways to study and to help others to do same.

You are definitely an exception when it comes to learning English. You are very active and extremely motivated to learn. It’s amazing how far you have come in just a year. But I would not encourage others to approach learning exactly as you have.

I agree that podcasts are a good way to practice pronunciation but not that everyone should just read anything. Read for meaning first in order to develop vocabulary. Read for sentence structure second to develop syntax and grammar structure. Read for inferences next, to synthesize meaning and develop opinions and ideas based on what you read. This last point is what we practice in the reading circles.

Everyone can read anything

Yesterday I received a comments about how I started to read and about my reading advices. I’ll try to explain my points of view.

“not everyone should just read anything”

If you want to feel what you read you need to search for it. A simple description about it is not enough. It’s like a book with a very nice cover. I can see there a very useful title and cover but inside a bad content. If you want to discover the truth you need to read more. All of us are in a big hurry, everyday. We need to take a break, to feel the words and phrases, not to analyze it. If you want to have fun with a new language you need to feel the words, the phrases and so on. At first, when you start to read a book, you don’t know what is inside. This is reason because I thought is better for you to read anything, then, in time, you can feel which text, book is really for you. You can choose your way after that, then you can be focused only on your way.

I have no way yet. I’ll search more, more, and more.

To be honest I don’t care to much about meaning the word, I try to feel the words when I read or I listen to somebody reading. Each word have something on it. I don’t know how improve my vocabulary but day by day I can tell you more in English. The meaning of the words come automatic, they are absorbed in my mind without any effort to understand them. Sometime I am curious about the meaning if there is no sense for me. You have right to look for meaning. I have no time when I read.

You can write down on piece of paper before and after reading time, new words and expression and look for the meaning. There are a lot of online resources to do that. Certainly you can ask your teacher if you have one.

Could be great on written English or in a debate about something. I think reading time will be good for feeling. In reading time we need to feel the text, the action, to be there, alive. After reading, the action, the feeling of the text is go on. We can talk about it, but never will be like in a live moments, like in first reading on in. We can understand better what happened there but life is go on, there will be only description on it, explanations, understanding, but no feeling. First impression is go on.

I remember times when you laugh a lot. There was not any explanations, any description about the meaning of the text. Was just your feeling, was a very nice moments. We can feel happy, sad, bored, that we are with somebody there. Try to remember the moments when you really feel the play, the action and so on. We are social beings, we need to communicate with each other between words. The truth is somewhere between words.

From this last post I discover that reading with voice, like a song, like a music, can be very relaxing time. We can help each other reading together, is like a therapy, not like a study a language.

I try to listen to you not to understand you. There is hard to explain. I have no words for that even in my language.

Hope that you can understand better after this explanation. The truth is that I have more, more and more to read, to listen, to understand and I can’t stop in a single way to read, to listen, to ask you.

Somebody said to me “Why you don’t ask nothing?”…

Because I just want to listen to you. To feel what you want not what I want. I want to understand you, not the words. Strange. Isn’t it ? …

Knowing and Understanding my approach

Somebody asked me about the story Hucklebery Finn next questions:

“I am interested in knowing and understanding your approach. So here are a few questions that I have.”

“1. Is it ok for beginner readers start with this story?”

If there is nobody to read with correct pronunciation, if there is no any audio file with correct sound is not very ok. They can read with Google translator pronunciation, myself I started with it, but a lot of people think that is not so good. For me was great. I started with it. So my advice is to start with podcasts which have audio files and texts.

Then beginners can read and listen same time good English. If they will use Google Translator my advice is to translate only phrase by phrase in their language and for pronunciation will be great to use Google Translator to translate from English to English. Then they will be sure that there is an English phrase with correct grammar.

I think for beginner readers is very ok to read any English, to absorb English everywhere. They need to practice any kind of English all their free time if they want to improve a language, if they want to improve English. Everyone is free to choose their method to practice, they can feel which one is better from themselves.

“2. Should the student be prompted with correct pronunciation or encouraged to figure the word(s) out by themselves?”

I am sure that teachers are not agree with me. I never agree with correction during the conversations or reading times. Maybe in real class, offline, one by one, can be great. But online, by internet, I not agree with any correction. Sometime people correct me. Is great. I want to thank them. But I don’t need it so much.

Each of us can write down on piece of paper new words or expression and before or after the class we can find online dictionaries, translators which can explain to us every word or expression. We can even ask somebody, but all the time after or before reading time or conversations.

If there is an English class for study words and the meaning of it could be ok. If there is a reading class is not ok. Sometime will be great to summarize the text. For beginners I think is ok to summarize after or before the class, to have time to understand the meaning of the story or the text.

In conclusion I think will be better to encourage the beginners to figure the word(s) out by themselves. They can find online a lot of explanations for the meaning of words.

“3. Do you suggest that we DO NOT try to discuss the story, just read even though there is no significant understanding.”

That depend of the level of English. If there are beginners and very beginners I don’t agree with discuss the story. They can’t understand a lot of the meaning of the story so fast. They need to study themselves deeper the text. Even they will understand some words or expressions, because of the teacher, they will lose fluency of the story.

Some of beginners don’t like to listen if they don’t understand. I don’t know yet what can I say in this situation. Maybe they need to study in other way. Myself I saw that absorbing a language is more useful then understanding it. After awhile I was able to speak without using memory. I never use memory to remember words or lists of words. Depends of the people.

If there are intermediates to advanced will be ok to discuss the story. Because they can understand fast what happen there even they don’t understand some words.

Usually intermediates to advanced learners know already how to improve their English, they practice themselves or with English teachers. I think if we want to help beginners will be great to explain them the meaning of the story before or after the class.

In conclusion I do not agree to discuss the story because there can be beginners and advanced same time. Some of them can understand all the meaning of the story some of them can’t understand, then advanced English speakers can help beginners.

Hi everyone!

I started to read more and more. Every day I read articles from this page: readbud. Now I look for people who like to read too. I think the best methode to learn a foreign language it’s to teach it. There you can see I made an English class for Reading Practice on BuddySchool. You can see me on this movie reading in Second Life in a beautiful garden, Rose Garden in Virtlantis, free resource and open community of practice for language learners and teachers in the virtual worlds of Second Life.

I have now a Reading Practice group in Second Life. I want to invite there people who really enjoy reading a lot. I wait to listen to you reading. For each of us listening is maybe the best way to improve English.

Teaching for free is a …

Few days ago I heard that we live in a business world. Then somebody said that the best method to learn is teaching others.

I think about you. How much do you like to teach others. I think not to much. To be honest I love to teach. Then think about learning. You want to learn, to study. Your goal is to study yourself. Some people can do it. I thought that for me will be easiest to do it. It is not.

Now I want to improve to pass highest levels. I have hundred online resources. To be honest Google has hundred information about anything. For some of them I added some links on my page. I look for grammar, for translations and I really want to like to study them.

If you are an English Teacher it is possible to teach for free. Then if it is for free I’ll feel forced to do something for you, for free. Your time can be your money. Then will don’t be for free. There is a strange situation.

I am sure that depends of the each person. Some of them love to teach for free, to help others. Others ask a lot of money. We need to find the answers somewhere in the middle.

You are not an English teacher and you like to study.You search for others who like to study. Somehow we can help each other. You’ll teach me and I’ll teach you. For basic knowledge it is ok. For highest levels we need teachers.

I am not sure about that right now. Me too I want to be an English teacher in the future. Now I think if is ok to be for free, for very cheap price or an expensive English teacher.

For awhile I think just how we can help each other. I’ll be online every day to listen to you and to read together. Now I want just to improve my English. You can do it with me, too.

Learning with Technology

Hi everyone,

I found hundred webpage sites where you can practice, learn, study, have conversations. I discover the most useful thing is direct conversation, online. I listened to podcasts, youtube, movie on great webpage sites but in short time a was bored. Why? Because there are nobody. You can’t stop records and ask people anything. In short time you will feel alone and bored.

Any technology in the world can’t replace human being. We need to socialize, to laugh, to make jokes, to have conversations, have opinions.
Then I discovered Second Life and 3D environments. There we can have text and audio socializations and the most wonderful thing we can build an avatar, a character. Even it is just a little doll, we can see a person, a character who look at us, speak at us, some like body language, virtual body language.

For anybody the best technology is 3D environment and direct contact with people with voice. There are a lot of things to say. Now I will stop here to say that 3D environments are the most useful for studying a lot of things not only languages.

How to learn a foreing language

Hi everyone,

I’ll try to explain. I think that to teach basic English, to speak and write a little even with some mistakes is very important to be for free, lovely, fun even funny sometimes.

I saw on myself. If I don’t know basic English was impossible to speak with you. Now I am really happy that I can do that.

I can study grammar in English, without any Romanian explanations. That’s great. I can feel English; I don’t need to think in Romanian. There is other great point. If I make often translations I will think in Romanian with English.

We can elaborate these ideas. But I think that teachers need to change fast their method to start to teach a language with rules. They need to imitate parents when they teach their new born kids.

And we, like adults, need to play a role like a new babies. Then to learn a new language will be a lovely habit.

I agree that for a job, for a company we need to know advanced English, grammar and so on. For that teachers can ask money, for certificates. But for Basic English, for survey, I think we need to help each other for free. If I want to survey with English I have no possibilities to pay for it. There is the point. We need to help each other for basic needs, and language is between needs now days.

Then I started to study English grammar for a job, for be able to have a job where I need to use English. Same time I know that to speak with English teachers I need to know grammar.

I can speak more about that. Maybe I am wrong. Who know?

Hi everyone!

First I thought that grammar isn’t important. I started to translate, read and speak without any grammar rules. Now I’m really happy that I can speak, I can read and even I can write a little. I was convinced that we don’t need any grammar.

I was in an interview for a job in a company. There I need to have a conversation with potential customer, to translate a very elaborate business text, presentation for the product and, finally, I needed to pass a grammar text. It was impossible for me to translate and to pass grammar test. I pass only 30 percent.

These facts prove me that we need to know grammar if we want to do something serious, to speak with English teachers or with business people, scientific, to write a professional article, book and so on.

Finally, grammar is very important if you want to know English. When you want that opposite part to understand you, to understand exactly what you want to say.

I love to educate myself. For grammar I don’t know to organize my studies. I look for somebody who can help me to organize my own grammar studies or even to practice together grammar, idioms, writing English and so on.

Finally, grammar is very important if you want to have something serious with English. Is not important if you just want to say something even that sometimes people don’t understand you exact the meaning.

I want to speak with you more about English. I love it.

On my trips in Second Life, I have looked for places where I can practice, learn or listen to English. On my first place, I met friend who recommended Hotel Chelsea, so I went there. On my first entry it was an empty place. I thought people went there to do nothing. I saw a table of events and started a short visit at this hotel.

I found large corridors like in real hotels. If you go there, you will see nice paintings on the walls. There are six floors. You can use the stairs or the elevator to go up to the next floor.

I decided to wake up early in the next morning, at 2 EET or 5 pm Second Life Time or Pacific Time to see how events ran there. You can go to Hotel Chelsea to listen to singers on live concerts Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 3 to 5 am EET or 5 to 7 pm Second Life Time.

My favorite activity there is on Wednesday: Literary Activity, from 4 to 6 a.m. EET or 6 to 8 p.m. Second Life Time. There a lot of good people and you can make new friends there. I go there often.

One day I went to a Rez Party. It was strange for me at first. “What is Rez Party?” I wondered. I searched the person who organized the party and I read her profile. Then I understood that Rez Party means “birthday” in Second Life. It was a great party. I could listen to a great performer sing with his guitar live. I remember his name: Obeloinkment. Now I think about us. Each of us have our Rez Party. It is a great idea. We can organize it even here in Hotel Chelsea.

I love to read and listen to in English. Everyday I read useful articles and I discover new ideas about how to do a lot of things or about life. It’s very nice to listen to live music and between songs I can listen to comments in spoken English at Hotel Chelsea. It’s like stopping between paragraphs and speaking a little when we have reading time. Right now, I am writing this article with music from Hotel Chelsea in the background. I hear nise guitar sounds. Now at 4 a.m., in the night, early morning it is just me and the sounds of guitar. It’s great!

I’ve listened to singer like: Nonge Shipman, Eric Steffensen, David Csizer, Obeloinkment and a very nice singer, dann.numbers who has even live stream. I saw him, Dann Russo, in real life singing in front of the web cam. I am sure that listening to English songs can be another great method to improve English. Now I thinking if I could sing. I have an old guitar. Maybe I will use it. There is strong support for live music in Hotel Chelsea.

Now I am really happy. I see Dann Russo singing live on his webcam. He sings, speaks, makes breaks and drinks coffee or something like that. It is very funny to see real people and their avatars singing at the same time. You can contact him on facebook or twiter to speak with him directly. I think if he can teach others to sing by stream and/or webcam. That could be a great method of teaching English.

Between songs and chats you can make some new good friends there. You can read messages like this on local chat: DO YOU KNOW WE HAVE ROOMS FOR RENT? I’M ENOLA VAHER FOR MORE INFORMATION OR JUST LOOK AROUND. There you can rent your own room in Second Life. Prices are between 200 to 400 L$ per week. On my little trip between rooms I have seen Madonna’s, Bob Dylan’s. There are a lot.

I think there will be an exhibition with some paintings. I saw that message there: HEY ART EXHIBITION IN GALLERY 23 FOR JANUARY/FEBRUARY. CHECK IT OUT JUST NEXT DOOR TO THE HOTEL. There I saw one place like a reception on real Hotel Chelsea.

In my little visit I have seen paintings on the walls on each floor, by stairs or elevator. And I saw a very nice place where people can have parties on the sixth floor. There I saw Rez Party.

I don’t know why I like to speak at the end of my article about my favorite activity there. Now I want to tell you that I was there, in Hotel Chelsea in my frist literary activity in Second Life.
You know that I love to read. I read anything to improve my English. Here you can listen to literature, poetry. That’s great. I hope to write my own book in the future to read from it in Reading Circles. How many years will I need for that? I met a very nice book writer: Cinnamon Zemenis in my first lierature meeting in Second Life. She even has some books on Amazon to sale. I will be glad to hear about somebody who has read reading from her books.

How The Families Can Help Each Other

Now we are passing though economic crises. It’s true that we need money for a lot of things, but as I see it we can make a lot of things for free. All of us can subscribe to one internet connection and be together around somebody. Even families who are not all together by internet, in conferences meetings, can be around Christmas Days for example.

Now people can offer for free and receive for free useful things like language classes or other scientific activities. I think about education, free education. Then I think about teachers. They need jobs; they need to be paid for doing something.

We can listen to stories at our home without traveling long distance. We can keep our children safe, in our garden, or in little village with a good internet connection, laptops and others devices. Who knows what will happen in future? Maybe we will not need to go to schools far away from home.

I also think about socialization. How will we socialize? I love to read stories with my family, in voice aloud. Between paragraphs we can stop and talk about anything, or about subject from the text. We can have more emphasis online. We can try to play like actors, even. I am sure that you too love to read stories with your kids.

I think about our kids, and our families. Often at schools, on the street, on the internet we see a lot of bad things. Every time I thought that families who love each other can make a better world. Then I started to study English, to know more about world. After just 3 months I discovered a big world, not only one country. Then I was sure that I can help more people to do same.

We can have in our houses, our families very nice studying moments. We can study with pleasure, don’t make boring homework. Because of internet we can use a lot opportunities to make fun any study time. For example, you can sit down in your bed, listen your partner, colleague, teacher, and feel good reading. I saw that a lot of people spend years to study a language, and yet they can’t speak. I was surprised, why?

Then I discovered that fun is important in our lives. I think about how we can help each other, in our families, at our home to make studies interesting with fun, and to have pleasant time to study. I think, for example, how the kids can have fun to practice language in their own room, to read together stories, to speak about anything.

Every time I want, and I am sure that you too want, to be with your family together. Today we can even have a job from our house, from home. I think all the time about readers’ job. We can read stories for our kids or for others, or even between us, like adults. Then we will be closer, and we can build strong society, with more family’s friends.

Now I know that we need to know to educate ourselves, to do something for a better world, to be happier everyday, with our kids, friends, teachers, and partners. We can become a huge family far away from the money oriented world which focuses on only buying and selling things!

I love to read aloud, but now I think about writing books, articles for reading. I saw that it is very important environment, Second Life it is great for that. Now I think that it is very important, too, to feel good about text, about what you read. Some people told me about conversations. For me it is hard yet. I think reading it is more useful then simple conversations. Some time I believe that are important both. Then I will start to learn how I can write very nice articles, or even stories for reading in Reading Circles, or even between friends. I love any ideas from you, but please don’t give me links, websites or something like these stuffs. I love to be contacted and to speak directly. Exploring Berlin 1920s

I am sitting here and starting to read a little German text. I hope to meet some German people who can speak with me. I am looking at the blackboard and waiting for some colleagues or teachers. There you can see 16 places for pupils. After reading a German article I am watching a movie of the city 20 years ago.

I have being so happy. These shelves full of books make me feel good. A small pile of books are waiting for me in the shop window.

Now I am polishing some shoes to earn money. But here I am reading very good articles on the free evening newspaper. I am waiting for some rich people who want to polish their shoes. My friends are going away from me if I don’t think about another job.

Me: Hello! What are you doing here?
Friend: We are preparing an exhibition. Tonight 2 pm we will have a Barocque clocks exhibition in The Gallery.
Me: What can I do here in Berlin?
Friend: Like other people told before, you can have much conversation every night at 2pm SLT in the Keller.
Me: I am going now to search Keller.

Then I am going there in Der Keller club. There I am making some friends. I am drinking beers. I am speaking with them. I am dancing and I am hearing some nice conversations. I am going often there. There I am seeing the draw walls like in the 1920s.I am sitting at the bar and drank a beer. The atmosphere was very relaxed around us because of early music.

Summary report
I am walking through Berlin in 1920 and I found very interesting things: school, football, theater room, shops, library, and club. The school German lessons are free and at the club have music in the 1920s. It is a very relaxing music.

Reading Stories In The Reading Circle

We can practice English with it. After each story we have some roles to do. If you can have the book we can read together and plan to do our roles. We can build a small group, six people. Each people can have a role. For each story we can change our roles. It is a very nice for practice English.

But if you want you can build your own 6 people group and start to practice English. I hope will be very nice.

You'll ask me about business in Second Life. I will advise you to visit London Mayfair. There will ask shop owners if they got a job for you. Maybe you will see me there. I already have a job as assistant SLFONE in Mayfair London. You'll think of the future.

You will try to buy your land and your house. In Mayfair you will find First Classes Skyboxes. You will start a business in a public or private place. For this you need a lot of imagination. The next step will be to build a website and you will promote your business online.

In Mayfair you will see some interesting activities that will give you new ideas. For example you could build your club or a cafe where to draw the residents of Second Life. There you will provide entertaining moments. You will enable them to make new friends.

You'll find this school Reiki, an interesting business. They will give you psychological help and assistance consultations, spiritual guides, Reiki healing treatments. It seems very interesting. I think many people will need in the future for all kinds of therapies to combat stress or depression.

You will also stroll through Mayfair with this particular car. In that business trip you will receive guidance from the city in local chat about the places you will visit. At the end of the journey you will get in a little park. You will sit on the bench and admire the picture with ads that will appear in front. With a simple click you will teleport into the store you want to see.

Here in Cypris Chat I watched, listened and played a little game Beer Girl . I was one of the volunteers actors. Was a lots of very funny moments. I saw very funny method to learn and practice English.

Hello,
If i try to explain that maybe a lot of yours don't listen to me. I learned, improved and practiced english exactly with these methods. But I couldn't explain so good like these teachers. I used Google Translate for understanding 95% from the text. Was not important exactly translation. Then I tried to translate each phrase and I used sound button for listening pronunciation. First point was understanding what about is the text. Then I used easy stories with audiofiles like podcasts from webpages like: 7 rules on Learn Real English Conversation now, elllo English Listening Online, Learn English British Council, VOA Special English Learning English, others. I listened often, read often with voice. Generally that is my method. But everyday I think how can improve my methods, how I can learn faster: to speak, to read, to write and very very important: to listen. I think everday how we can help each other.

Learn Real English - AUTHENTIC CONVERSATIONS

I started to learn English a few weeks ago. I used Google translator and I learned phrase be phrase, I listened and I tried to speak. Now I can speak a little and I can understand a lot of people when they speak. Now I try to understand new words directly only with english explanations with this dictionary: Cambridge Dictionary Online. But...

I discovered now this amazing website: Learn Real English. I saw that this people present exactly the mothode which I used, maybe with some small differents.

So I was very amayzed when I discovered it. Because it is exactly methode which I used it for learn English.

I think the best thing for you is to read and listen these 7 rules for Learn Real English.

But, I can add a new point to these rules. I think If you can practice, read with somebody, not only yourself, I think you can practice in very pleasant... time.

So, now just listen these rules. We can speak about these rules. I like very much.

Here I tried to make my first office. When I am here I have something to do: translate some text from English in Romanian, or I read something with voice. But sometimes I can speak with you if you can join with me.

Here can read some english text together, for improving reading skills. We can start an English conversation or even we can practice Romanian language if you study this language.

I think that we read together we can stop sometimes and speak about text, or anything. I wait you !

This group - Parents Empowered - is a list for people who believe that education, including the learning of English as a foreign language, is situated in a nexus of sociological, economic, pedagogical etc. synapses but that the importance and influence of PARENTS is decisive in successful learning. This virtual museum is built as the real one. You can see large rooms with paintings on the walls. It's a big building. Outside can see better. In each room you can stop and admire each picture separately. It's great for those who love art, especially paintings.

You can see here a few chairs. Here you can come every day at 4:00 SLT (SECOND LIFE TIME) and talk freely about anything.
It is a great place because here you can also use voice. Also here you can organize all kinds of meetings, free activities, but in special languages activities. More places were created with different environment.

You can see here very nice place for private conversation, or even for reading together English books. Here we can speak about something.This local is very small and intimate. Here you can have a virtual view very quiet. Besides the attractive atmosphere you can have opportunity to choose what music you want to listen and even dance.
I think for the real world would be great to spend time here, a few minutes with a virtual partner who can make a conversation in a virtual environment very quiet and pleasant.

Learn, practice and teach English and other languages in Second Life

Three weeks ago I found a few places in Second Life where you can learn, practice or teach English for free. First place where I learned to use voice in Second Life and where I started to attend free English lessons or other fun activities through which to develop our English is cypris chat.
Here, in Cypris Chat, are some rules though. First you need to use voice, and then have to be active and to join in Cypris Chat, the group chat in Second Life, to participate in lessons, activities, events.

Another great place for those who want to learn, practice, teach English este Second Life English Community. And here it is necessary to be active, to participate in classes, lessons, but everything here is lighter, fewer rules and furthermore there for future opportunity to learn, practice or teaching multi-kulti conversation, others languages, not only English.

There Second Life and other places where you can practice English in an organized manner, for money or for free, but the above are my favorites.

In aceasta lume magica din Second Life am descoperit SLfone, un telefon virtual cu care poti trimite sms, mesaje text in lumea reala si invers din lumea reala in second life. Imi place foarte mult ideea si de asta am facut sa am si eu unul. Este super ideea acestui SLfone pentru cei care vor sa ramana anonimi in Second Life, care nu vor sa-si divulge adevarata identitate dar au nevoie sa poata comunica si in viata reala, prin sms mesaje text cu partenerul virtual sau cu partenerii de afaceri din Second Life. In principiu functioneaza foarte simplu. Se ataseaza unui numar de SLfone (ca un numar real de telefon celular) numele de avatar, numele din Second Life. Astfel mesajele se trimit catre avatar, iar ele ajung pe telefonul mobil real, fara ca expeditorul sa fie nevoit sa-si divulge identitatea reala si invers, cel care primeste sms, mesaj text, primeste mesajul de la un nume de avatar din Second Life, nu e nevoit sa cunoasca adevarata identitate a celui care trimite.

Dupa vreo 45 de zile de Second Life am inceput sa-mi dau seama ca de fapt inca sunt la inceput si ca trebuie sa-mi redefinesc intentiile in aceasta a doua viata sau joc, cum il considera cei mai multi.
Dupa ce am vizitat o gramada de locuri, am vazut si bune si rele, incerc sa-mi gasesc un loc al meu. La fel ca si in viata reala, am nevoie de un job sau o mica afacere, am nevoie de o sursa de venit care sa-mi asigure traiul de zi cu zi, cu toate ca se poate trai in Second Life si fara asta, dar pentru o viata mai buna merita.
Am incercat 30 de zile sa vand marfa, marfa altora, intr-un spatiu din Virtual Bucharest, apoi am vazut chestiile de campare, unde ori speli, cureti, stai pur si simplu si castigi cativa L$.

De vreo 3 zile am primit un job mai serios si sunt putin mai incantat. Sa vand in magazinele SLFONE, telefoane pentru Second Life: slfone. Mi se pare o idee tare interesanta sa poti trimite sms din second life in realitate si invers cu siguranta ca numarul real nu iti este cunoscut de nimeni. E o chestie ca acesta poate ramane confidential in Second Life si nu numai.

Am reusit sa avansez putin pe situl earn2life, de unde am inceput sa adun o suma cat de cat rezonabila in fiecare zi.

Mai raman jocurile de zyngo unde am fost mai rar. Si cam atata cu afacerile in Second Life.

Ma bucur ca am descoperit si un forum al romanilor care incearca sa rapunda la intrebari si sa ne ajute, sa ne ajutam reciproc, sa ne dezvoltam cumva in Second Life:
Comunitatea Romanilor in Second Life.

Pana la urma am tras concluzia ca e nevoie sa o iau de la inceput, sa imi revizuiesc privirea asupra acestui joc, platforma de socializare sau ce-o fi in realitate.

Dupa 9 zile de viata virtuala, in Second Life (SL), am invatat sa merg peste tot in lume. Am invatat sa zbor cu un avion de jucarie, am vazut o gramada de locuri super frumoase si acum astept sa vad cum merg vanzarile. Am acum primul meu magazin in SL si sunt tare curios cum va fi prima vanzare:). In rest totul e minunat. Invat sa creez obiecte si asta mi se pare super. Sunt inca la inceput, ar fi multe de spus. Cel mai bine ne intalnim in SL si va pot arata ce stiu pana acum, 11.02.2010.
